If you have kids, chances are you’ve heard of Poptropica. It was named one of Time Magazine’s “50 Websites that Make the Web Great”. Recently, they’ve launched their newest app called: Poptropica Worlds. If it sounds bigger and better that’s because it is. Created by Jeff Kinney, author Diary of a Wimpy Kid book series, Poptropica is about immersive and interactive storytelling and your kids are the storytellers. They get to create their own avatar to be on the quest.

Poptropica Worlds players are ready to explore a chain of story-based islands where they battle monsters and solve mysteries (and we have a lot of mystery solvers in this house) and complete quests as their personalized Poptropican avatar. By engaging with Poptropica, kids explore such learning fundamentals as reading and problem solving.

My Kids TOP favorite things about Poptropica Worlds:

Mystery– They loved solving mysteries in order to move on, they were able to work as a team to solve them.

Engagement–Talking to the characters in the game was such a big hit. They could always find someone to click on to get more information.

Puzzles–These aren’t your average easy puzzles. They were engaging with each other and working together to figure these out.

Yes it’s FREE! This educational game is great for kids who love to create their own worlds. Ours kids love following the story and jumping from island to island on this freshly launched app: Poptropica Worlds. It teaches history and kids can do puzzles that make their brains “stretch”. Kids all over the world are already playing and the reviews are stellar.
